We're delighted to announce that Allan and his colleagues (Dr Megan Balks and Professor David Lowe), have won the most recent Soil Science Australia 'J K Taylor Gold Medal' for their book ‘The Soils of Aotearoa New Zealand’. The book gives a comprehensive overview of New Zealand’s soils in terms of the New Zealand Soil Classification System. Congratulations to the team for what we know was a real labour of love!
